Translations: Getting Started

Setting up translations in Prospectus Plus begins with a simple but important step: providing the right information up front. This ensures everything can be configured correctly before you begin translating content in the CMS.

What do we need from you?

Before we can enable translations, we’ll ask you to complete a short submission of our translation template.

Translation submission checklist

Please include the following in your submission:

  • The languages you want to support (e.g. French, Spanish)

  • A completed translation file for each language (based on our template)

  • Translated UI text using our provided file

  • Preferred display labels for each language (e.g. “Français” vs “French”)

We’ll provide a downloadable template containing all default system text. Simply translate this and send it back to us.

How do I submit my translations?

1. You can download the translation template here

2. Translate the content into your chosen language(s)

3. Once completed upload your file here

Translation files are currently uploaded by our team, so please ensure everything is complete before submitting.

What happens next?

Once we receive your files:

  • We upload your translation file(s) into your project

  • We configure your selected languages in the CMS

  • We prepare everything ready for you to begin translating content

You don’t need to wait for translations to go live, you can prepare everything in advance.

What’s next?

Once your languages are set up, you’re ready to start translating your site content.
